Are You Getting Married?
Weddings are very romantic and special occasions
where you want the best for you and your spouse. Music has always been a very important part of wedding occasions.
It is nice to use CD background music, but some prefer the highlight of a live keyboard or piano player. Live music
has always been more satisfying and memorable than pre-recorded music.
I am a live keyboard/piano player who plays by ear, and reads chords and can play a combination
of original contemporary/classical music as well as contemporary Christian or traditional music. For example, I play
wedding songs by Steven Curtis Chapman such as "I will be Here..." or "In My Arms Again" by Michael W. Smith, or other various wedding
songs, worship songs, or hymns such as "Great is Thy Faithfulness" or "Amazing Grace."
If I do not know the song, you just need to provide a copy of the CD or tape for me to listen
to and get copies of the lyrics and chords. I play mostly background music, but may be able to accompany some
soloists if I am familiar with the song. Click on Piano Music on upper left to listen to samples of my music.
If the church or place you are having your wedding has a piano, I will gladly use that but
if it does not, I will provide my personal Kurzweil 88 Key digital stage piano. I would need to hook
it up to your sound system. I will mostly play for weddings in the Seattle or King County areas, if asked to play in
areas further away, such as Tacoma, Edmunds, or Everett, my fees would be slightly higher for travel expenses.
